The Petra Toscana rosso IGT by Petra appears ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, this red wine from the Maremma enchants with its incredibly complex, aromatic bouquet, intense and powerful scents of wild berries, sour cherry jam, rosemary, burnt wood, tobacco, framed again and again by balsamic notes with hints of mint, cinnamon and pepper spice. Opulent on the palate, full-bodied and elegant, of strong and powerful structure, that is how this top wine presents itself on the palate. The velvety tannins are wonderfully integrated into the fresh and aristocratically full-bodied texture. In the finish the Petra is long lasting, in harmony with the bouquet, with pleasantly spicy, balsamic aftertaste.
